Known for our high quality vehicle accessories and insight into a range of off-road activities, this brand has helped to open the door to 4×4 pursuits for many thousands of enthusiasts. Our Safari Centre stores have well trained staff who can convert off-road dreams into reality with the correct equipment and advice, enabling you to make those bucket-list trips you have long been planning.

It was in mid 2013 that the Imperial Group, previously a 75% shareholder in Safari Centre, bought the remaining equity with a view to turning the company into South Africa’s foremost 4×4 and accessory brand.

The Safari Centre brand has been around since 1979 and was bought by renowned 4×4 expert, Andre de Villiers, in 1998. From humble beginnings as a single outlet in Menlyn, Pretoria, Safari Centre now boasts more than 16 stores nationwide and plans are in the pipeline to expand operations even further by joining forces with Campworld, another prominent leisure label within the IMPERIAL Leisure Division.

Already, several Campworld/Safari Centre collectives have been opened – amongst others in Mosselbay, Nelspruit, Vereeniging, and Pietermaritzburg.

Safari Centre will also in the future place focus on securing 4×4 vehicle accessories that will be available exclusively from these stores. The now established Offgrid brand of 4×4 accessories offer a variety of front and rear replacement bumpers, rock sliders, bash plates and snorkels for most makes of 4×4 vehicles. This range of products will in the future be expanded to offer 4×4 enthusiasts greater options when choosing their vehicle accessories.

Safari Centre boasts an AA approved fitment centre at each of their branches.
 With approval from leading automotive manufactures, only tested, quality 4×4 accessories are professionally fitted by skilled staff in our workshops.
 We invite you to experience quality, efficient service at any one of our fitment centres. To back up our promise of quality service, we carry a two-year warranty on all fitments.

Safari Centre warrants that all workmanship and parts used are free from defects according to current industry standards.
 Safari Centre’s workmanship is backed by a 2 year warranty, and all parts and components fitted, carry a manufacturer warranty applicable to the specific part or component.
 Safari Centre further warrants to replace or repair under warranty any vehicle components damaged as a direct result of their workmanship and parts used. This warranty is only applicable to vehicles still under the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty and becomes effective on the date of fitment and remains effective for the duration of the new vehicle manufacturer warranty. Claims during this period will not extend the warranty.

Safari Centre is appointed as Warn Red Letters Dealers and Service Centres. This means our dealers are authorized Warn service centres. Warn offers a standard 1 year warranty with all winches and accessories. If the winch has been serviced once a year and the service booklet has been completed with every service, the warranty on the winches are extended to a Limited Lifetime Warranty based on manufacturer’s defect. The warranty on the Tabor range remains a 1 year warranty only.
